On the device you want to enable the permissions for:

  1. Open the Family Zone app on your child’s device

  2. Tap on the red banner at the top of the app

  3. Tap on ALLOW to go to the Family Zone settings

  4. Tap on Notifications 

  5. Toggle the Allow Notifications switch

  6. Tap Family Zone at the top of the screen to return to the Family Zone app

Can I fix the notification permission remotely?

No, you need to have the device.  However your child should be able to follow these instructions to fix it.

Why can’t I see the notifications in the settings?

There is an issue with iOS that sometimes prevents apps from setting notification permissions.  If this occurs you’ll need to remove the Family Zone app and reinstall it.

Once I fix it do I have to update my online account?

No, when our system becomes aware that the permissions have been granted we will close the alerts, alarms and To dos.

Why doesn’t my child’s device look like that?

You may need to update the operating system on your device.  Please contact Apple for assistance on upgrading the devices operating system.
