To manage device restrictions via your online account:

  1. Sign in to your online account 

  2. Click on the user whose Internet Filtering Rules you want to manage

  3. Click on the Profile name in their dashboard

  4. Check the age profile is reflected in the first drop down box

  5. Select Device features from the second drop down

  6. Toggle the switch to permit (blue) or block (grey) the relevant device feature

To manage device features via the Family Zone app on a parent device:

  1. Open theFamily Zone app on a parent device

  2. Click on the user whose internet filtering rules  you want to change

  3. Click Internet filter & rules

  4. Select Device features from the second drop down

  5. Click Done

  6. Toggle the switch to permit (blue) or block (grey) the relevant device feature

Do I need to save changes?

No. Our system saves the changes as you make them.

Can I have different settings for different times of the day?

No, device features are either off or on

How do I know which Age Profile my child is in?

You can see what age profile your child is in from their user dashboard accessed by going Users > Family then clicking on your child.

TIP: Clicking on the profile link will take you straight to the correct age profile for that child.

How long does it take for the changes to take effect?

Changes take around 30 seconds to take effect, but it can take up to 2 minutes.

Can I set different rules for different times of the day?

No, device features are either off or on.  

Can I reset the defaults of my Cyber Expert Profile?

Yes.
