To reset Internet Filtering Rules via your online account:

  1. Sign in to your online account 

  2. Click on the user whose Internet Filtering Rules you want to manage

  3. Click on the Profile name in their dashboard

  4. Check the age profile is reflected in the first drop down box

  5. Select what you want to reset from the second drop down

    1. Web categories

    2. Search and Streaming media

    3. Social Networks and games

  6. Click Show my overrides

  7. Click Restore defaults

  8. Click YES on the pop up

To reset Internet Filtering Rules via the Family Zone app on a parent device:

  1. Open the Family Zone app on a parent device

  2. Click on the user whose internet filtering rules  you want to change

  3. Click Internet filter & rules

  4. Select what you want to reset from the drop down

    1. Web categories

    2. Search and Streaming media

    3. Social Networks and games

  5. Click Show my overrides

  6. Click Restore defaults

  7. Click YES on the pop up

How long before the change takes effect?

Internet filtering rule changes take around 30 seconds (but up to 2 minutes) to take effect on users' devices.

Do I need to save?

No changes to the internet filtering rules are automatically saved.

Can I reset all the sections at once?

No, you have to reset each section individually.

Can I recover my overrides after I’ve reset them?

No. So be careful when resetting

Can I copy the overrides to another Age Profile?

No.
