To manage automatic age profile updates:

  1. Sign in to your online account 

  2. Click on Settings

  3. Click on Family zone

  4. Select the appropriate rule from the AUTO PROFILE UPDATES drop down list

    1. Change automatically based on birthdays

    2. I’ll change profiles manually

  5. Click SAVE

To manage automatic age profile updates using school term dates:

  1. Sign in to your online account or open the Zone Manager app

  2. Click on Settings

  3. Click on Family zone

  4. Select Change automatically based on school term dates from the AUTO PROFILE UPDATES drop down list

  5. Select the appropriate month that your school term starts from the School term start month drop down

  6. Select the appropriate School age cut-off month from the drop down

  7. Click SAVE

How do I stop it from automatically updating the age profiles?

Change the rule to I’ll change profiles manually.

If I change the setting from manual does it recalculate the age profiles?

No, it will only change them at the next trigger event (birthday or school start).

Can I revert it back to the system default?

You can change it to Change automatically based on birthdays which is the default.

Can I have different rules for different users in my account?

No, the rules are set at the account level and apply to all users in the account.

How will I know if my child’s age profile has been changed?

You should get an email informing you of the change.

Do I need to update the school term start date for each term?

No, just put in the month for the first term of the school year.

What’s the school age cut-off month?

Most states or countries have a mandatory school start age.  There will also be a cut off month where children have to have turned the school start age prior to in order to start school that year.

What if I don’t know the school age cut-off month?

Select the same as the school term start month.
