To remove a user PIN through the Zone Manager App:

  1. Open the Zone Manager app 

  2. Click on the family member you want to set the PIN for

  3. Toggle the switch to Allow device borrowing using PIN so that it’s grey

  4. Toggle the switch to Allow device borrowing using PIN so that it’s blue

  5. Enter a 4-digit PIN

  6. Click Done


To change a users PIN through your online account

  1. Sign In to your online account

  2. Click on the family member you want to set the PIN for

  3. Click on Account in the user dashboard

  4. Delete the old Pin from the Quick access PIN field

  5. Enter a new 4-digit PIN in the Quick access PIN field

  6. Click Save 

When should my child start using the new PIN?

Immediately.  As soon as you’ve changed it, they should be able to use the new PIN for borrows.

Why can’t I see the option to set a PIN for my child?

Most likely because you’re on an Insights subscription and the borrowing feature is not available.

Why does my child need a PIN?

Your child needs a PIN so that they can borrow devices without needing to get your permission.
