To set a user PIN through the Zone Manager App:

  1. Open the Zone Manager app 

  2. Click on the family member you want to set the PIN for

  3. Toggle the switch to Allow device borrowing using PIN

  4. Enter a 4-digit PIN

  5. Click Done

NOTE: PINs and device sharing are only available to Premium Subscriptions.


To set a user PIN through your online account

  1. Sign In to your online account

  2. Click on the family member you want to set the PIN for

  3. Click on Account in the user dashboard

  4. Enter a 4-digit PIN in the Quick access PIN field

  5. Click Save 

When can my child use the PIN?

Your child will be able to use the PIN immediately.

Does my child get notified of what the PIN is?

No, you’ll need to let them know what their PIN is.

Can I remove the PIN from my child?

Yes, you can remove the PIN from your child at any time.

Why can’t I see the option to set a PIN for my child?

Most likely because you’re on an Insights subscription and the borrowing feature is not available.

Why does my child need a PIN?

Your child needs a PIN so that they can borrow devices without needing to get your permission.
