Device not being Filtered
Currently, there are no internet restrictions from Family Zone for this device.
My device should be filtered by a Home Zone Box
If your device is connected to the Home Zone Box and is not being filtered:
Check that you are connected to the Home Zone WiFi network
If you have connected to a different WiFi network, reconnect to the Home Zone network and forget the previous WiFi network.
I am connected to the Unfiltered WiFi Network
This WiFi is unfiltered, therefore, only recommended for adults and mature guests to use.
My WiFi network is missing and I see an open network called ‘FamilyZoneSetup’
- Login Online
- Home Network > WiFi
- Update WiFi settings if required and then select Save
- You should see you WiFi network broadcasting within two minutes
My device should be filtered by Mobile Zone
I have an Apple iOS Device
Check if the VPN is connected by checking if at the top of your device there is a VPN symbol
- If the VPN symbol is present, browse to home.tools
- If the VPN symbol is not present, review the following guide VPN Connect on Demand
I have an Android Device
Check if the VPN is connected by checking the top of your device to ensure there is a VPN symbol (it looks like a key)
- If the VPN symbol is present, browse to home.tools
- If the VPN symbol is not present, reboot the device and then open the Mobile Zone app to check that all permissions have been granted.
I have a Windows Device
From the system tray click on the Mobile Zone for Windows icon.
Click on Request a Change button to reach the home.tools webpage.
I have a Apple Mac Device
From the system tray click on the Mobile Zone for Mac icon.
Click on Request a Change button to reach the home.tools webpage.
I have a Chromebook Device
From the system tray click on the Mobile Zone for Chromebook icon.
Click on Request a Change button to reach the home.tools webpage.
