Mobile Zone needs to send important alerts to the app which in turn helps up protect the device.  If we detect that these permissions have not been granted or previously granted permissions have been revoked we will alert you.

Alarms: Yes, in the device details screen and the user dashboard for whom the device is associated with.  The alarm will no longer show when the app is installed again..

Disable Notifications: N/A

To Do: Yes. The To do will automatically close when the permissions are granted

Red Flag: Yes. A device permissions red flag is logged.

Consequences: No

Eligible customers: This alert applies to customers with active Insights and Premium subscriptions.

Why did I get this alert?

You received this alert because we have detected that the notification permission is not granted for a Mobile Zone protected iOS (Apple) smart device on your account.

What do I need to do when I get this alert?

You need to reinstate the permission.  Grab the device and open the Mobile Zone app.  Follow the on screen prompts to restore the permissions.

Can I fix this remotely?

No, you need to have the device.  However your child should be able to follow these instructions to fix it.

I received the notification but I can’t see a To Do in my account. Why?

This likely means that this issue has been fixed or another user with parent access has closed the To Do  If you are at all concerned, you should check the device.

Why would my child do this?

Most likely to bypass our controls or to hide what they are doing. 

This may be because the controls are too strict or that they wish to do improper things.  Talk to your child and find out what they are trying to access and, if applicable, adjust controls accordingly.

I received the notification but I can’t see a To do in my account. Why?

This likely means either:

  1. The issue has been resolved and we’ve detected the notification permissions have been granted, or

  2. The Mobile Zone service has been cancelled through your online account, or

  3. Another user with parent access has closed the To do.
