Good to know

We can’t stop your child from trying to remove Mobile Zone

Family Zone is unable to stop your child from attempting to remove the app. That’s because both Apple and Android treat device owners as adults with the authority to remove any installed app.

Affected devices will automatically switch to “Sleep-time”

Family Zone will place a device in sleep-time when we detect a violation. This means it won’t be able to connect to the internet when they connect to any other Family Zone Service

Frequently Asked Questions

I tried to remove Mobile Zone from my child's device and now they can’t access the internet. What’s happened?

Family Zone will place a device in sleep-time when we detect a violation. This means it won’t be able to connect to the internet.

My child keeps attempting to bypass the app. Can Family Zone stop this?

No. Because of restrictions by Apple and Google (Android), we can only issue alerts.

I attempted to reinstall the Mobile Zone app and received an error message about MDM payload. What do I do?

You’ll need to remove the device profile currently in place in settings. If this is the school's MDM, we recommend adding your childs school to their profile in POrtal by selecting the child's user circle and tapping Settings.
