I want to allow explicit content (swearing ) but only in Apple Music. How to do this?

Hi Kevin,

You can allow Explicit content in iTunes by going to Settings > Age Profile Controls > Device Features and allowing the "Explicit iTunes Content (on iOS)" toggle.

Hi, I have followed the instructions For changing the age profile setting to allow explicit itunes and also fir allowing instagram in play mode but neither are working / changing on my sons phone. what do I try next? Thanks

Hi Tammy,

After looking at your account I can see that Sean has access to iTunes with explicit content and also Instagram in Play mode.

Although Lachlan is blocked from both of these.

If you are still experiencing issues with allowing Sean Instagram and explicit iTunes access, please give our support line a call on 1300 398 326 and we'll be happy to assist.

Kind Regards,

Hi I am trying to let Luke listen to songs with explicit lyrics on Apple Music, I have changed the settings on his phone but it doesn’t work.

Hi Keith, do you have screentime or any content restrictions set up on his phone?

I would like my kids to be able to listen to Apple music and download songs at night.

I'm wondering with Apple Music not being blocked with familyzone anymore, then shouldn't they automatically be able to listen to Apple music because it can't be blocked?

The following blocking features are no longer available on Apple devices running iOS 13:

Permit in App PurchasesAccess iTunesExplicit iTunes Content

This doesn't seem to be the case, because as I toggle from Play to Sleep there is a setting somewhere that blocks Apple Music downloading. Does anyone know what it is?

Hi Hayden,

That category would be Apple services
